We had a shower tray replaced which involved removing tile, shower screen and tray etc. Surefix were very professional and did a great, tidy job of fitting the new system. They offered helpful advice, worked in a methodical tidy manner, and stuck to the original quote they provided. There were some occasions when they couldnt make it when we were expecting them, but they kept us updated and re-organised dates as soon as they could.

My cash strapped elderly neighbour who is a full time carer caring for his poorly wife toilet broke, obviously this an emergency. I rang Surefix spoke to Stuart, what a gentleman explained my neighbours dilemma and without hesitation he arrived first thing next morning fitted the toilet and didn’t charge a penny. I have never come across a firm as good as Surefix before true professionals really ethical I would highly recommend them.

Stuart turned up punctually and started straight away looking for the root of the leak. He went up in the loft and looked at the various water tanks. After several hours of constant hard work he found the right tank and fixed it. He was very patient as not even our stopcocks where easy to turn on and off. We were really pleased with his work. Then just as he was about to drive off we realised that our kitchen tap wasn’t turning off. He kindly came back in and fixed that too. Despite having many other appointments to go to. Thank you so much. So pleased with all he did.

Seldom do I make an effort to write a review, however on this occasion I felt it was something I needed to do to thank Stuart and to hopefully assist others in making the right call. Stuart came to fix my parents shower as it was leaking badly for some time and had caused more than just a leak. Stuart was extremely busy on the day as he we working on a job just down the road from me. I contacted him short notice and asked him to fit me a shower screen as I was walking past. Stuart came to my property on his dinner break and showed me some options. I explained that it was an emergency as we were struggling to shower as the previous screen was leaking terribly. Stuart could then offered to come and complete the job after he had finished the job he was on. Stewart and Gareth were amazing. Stewart had previously managed to solve a problem with plumbing that another plumber had not been able to solve and I had tried a couple of other plumbers who had not got back to me, probably because it was a small but not straightforward job. I had arranged with Stewart to have radiators done on a certain date but then my mother had been very ill in hospital but Stewart was very understanding and rescheduled. A superb job. They managed to organise everything taking account of my 21 month old granddaughter’s afternoon nap and I didn’t need to redecorate! Thanks!

I needed to have a potential water leak looked at as soon as possible and Stuart was able to attend the same day, and squeezed me in with an evening appointment which I greatly appreciated. He was very punctual, polite, competent and helpful. The water leak is potentially due to a radiator pipe leaking under the bathroom floor, and causing low boiler pressure. He topped up the boiler water/pressure, after installing a missing filling loop, and to diagnose fully I need to wait and see if the pressure drops again, then call back for a pipe repair or further investigation.

Stuart arrived on time despite me giving him a faulty postcode at first. He diagnosed the problem in our bath quickly and repaired the leak that same afternoon. He regrouted the bits affected and went around some other faulty grout areas, and even cleared out a blocked pipe in the sink next to it. Fair price and left me the grout for future. Definitely will use him for future plumbing needs!

Stuart was contacted 8am and though he was busy he said he’d call that afternoon and he did. He had to replace a part so went to a local merchant bought the part and fitted it within 2 hours we had a working loo again. No mess or fuss. Reasonable price, and polite. He said any problems to call him again and he’d come back out. The spare connector came in a two pack so he left us with the spare in case we were unlucky and it happen again. Definitely recommend him.

Stuart was very polite with good tidy workmanship even showed us some cheaper alternative showers to the one we wanted he saved us £120.00 on the new shower and also fixed a leaking radiator free of charge. Great guy would highly recommend using this person.

Water hammer arrestor fitted and leaking pipe in kitchen fixed.

Surefix guys were brilliant in deciding where to position the water hammer arrestor. One arrestor fixed the water hammer problems that we were experiencing throughout entire house. Leaking pipe in kitchen was very challenging due to constricted access and other pipes getting in the way. Surefix were very determined and tried several approaches to the job. In the end, it worked out well. Final cost was only a few pounds more than estimate due to cost of additional parts, which was fine. Highly recommended. Clean and tidy workmanship.
